Jean - Hayes Street, SF

"This particular outfit? I made the shirt myself out of flannel. The things that inspire me are architecture and nature."
I really like her duo fabric shirt dress. I didn't think there was another angle to approach referential 80s fashion, but I was wrong. She does a good job of updating an 80s look for modern times. Also, how great is it that she made the shirt dress? (Answer: Pretty great.)

A look at her tights and gray ankle boots.

These three are really great. I often enjoy just browsing your posts to see what you've seen on a particular day. It's refreshing and creative. I really enjoy fashion and art (as well as sewing and making jewelry) so your Fashionist blog is definitely my cup of tea. Just wanted to drop you a quick comment to say your take on the fashion you witness is really cool, for lack of a better word. Every person is so different and everyone's fashion sense is so different as well. It's fun to view. :)
