Lisa - 16th Street, SF
"This was a skirt by ISDA & CO that I found at a thrift store and thought it needed to be a dress so I added a halter and a tie to the back. I'm pretty eclectic, a big fan of color, bold colors and I'm not afraid to make a statement, even when I'm in the office much to the chagrin of my bosses."
I love that she DIY'd her dress to suit her. It takes a discerning eye and bravery to make a skirt into a dress (and make it work).
Lisa Congdon is an artist whose show, The Tenderhearted, is currently on display at the Candy Store in San Francisco.

Funny--I have this skirt which I wear as a skirt (and love it!)
that pattern is quite lovely, i imagine it's just as lovely as a skirt as it is a dress. :)
