Timothy and Jessielynn - Alameda Flea Market, Alameda
Timothy: "50s Rock-n-Roll pretty much. That's what we listen to and we drive old 50s cars. It's part of the whole rebellious thing."
Jessielynn: "I just like keeping the old look alive. I think there's a beauty in it that's lost in nowaday's fashion. So I like inspire people to dress like the olden days I guess."
I love that they could have been beamed straight out of the 1950s, but that they don't look too costume-y. I especially like Jessielynn's hair. It was a windy day, but she took the trouble to put rolls in.
The classic look of Keds and black Converse.
Sometimes I like to believe there is a fashion zeitgeist that informs people's fashion decisions on any given day. If there is a glimmer of truth to that, then woolen plaid was the zeitgeist of the day. The theme for today's posts being couples in wool, mostly plaids.

@wendyb, i know! how great to put rolls in your hair every day. i try pincurls once in awhile, but give up when it's windy. (which it was.)
