Alison - Dolores Park, SF

"This outfit, I got at a thriift store, actually Thriftown down on Mission. And it has shoulder pads and was poufed out, so I just decided to alter it into something for a blue dress party. I alter a lot of my clothes, just go to a thrift store, cut it up and my friend made me laser cutter earring with my initials on them. She's from Chicago, just visiting. So, I just like to cut things up, I make a lot of clothes out of tie and t-shirts and you know, cheap things, so..."
Alison did a great job with altering this dress and creating something new and modern. A big fan of the diy aesthetic I asked her how it used to look and she showed me how she reconfigured it to be a strapless piece from a shouldered pad "power dress". Earrings by her friend are badass as well.

Practical flats.
