Color, texture, silhouette - Nick has it in spades. Something about his outfit (DMs and tight patterned jeans) reminds me of the punks of 'yore - the ever fashionable Sex Pistols type (not the Ramones type).

I'm really into the idea of dressing like a senior in high school circa 1987. Kara's dress with it's peach hue and thin stripes remind me of that era.

Love the contrasting patterns of roses on tights (with negative space) and the stripes with palominos on her blouse. Also, tying it all together is a mini cut like sailor pants. Pretty great.

"Umm, I watch a lot of tv, so I either try to dress like Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl or Joan Halloway on Mad Men. This is more of a Joan Halloway look since it has a 60-ish thing to it with a cinched waist and kind of makes my hips look bigger like Joan Halloway."

Kat is Square Eyes - tv watcher and blogger extraordinaire. I admire her dedication in hoping to bring what she sees on the small screen into the outside world via self adornment. Also, her brocade fabric dress is quite lovely.

I like her brightly colored dress, her red locks and how jaunty her hat looks. Also, her dog Django is a beast to be reckoned with.

I like her sundress, frayed and all. Am also loving her accessories of clear sunglasses frame and chunky buckle braided leather belt.

I love the red hair, the red headband, the red accent on the edging of her jersey dress, and the red shoes. That jersey dress is a great $2 thrift find.

I love Rachel's haircut and her cute wisp of a dress. I also admire Alex's boldness in pairing the extreme casualness of a tie-dyed shirt with the formality of brogues.

Local filmmaker Phoebe Tooke is sporting a polyester 80s frock that would work well in the office secretary pool. I like how the dress looks so proper, but the Dr. Scholl's [corrected per comments - thanks.] are slightly unexpected and make it a bit casual.
