Allysun - Wisconsin Street, SF
"I'm inspired by flappers and like Edwardian, gothic stuff. But also by handmade and the diy fashion of combining - like ripping stuff up and putting together vintage and new stuff. And, of course, sparkly things."
Allysun is the powerhouse between the eco couture line of Kittin Hawk. I love how she is a jumble of textures and accessories, but it all works. Not only because she's gorgeous, but because it's all in varying shades of black. And yes, I think the sequins totally work for day because of this.
A look at her lovely black leather lace-up boots.

I also admired her style (and designs) at Indie Mart. Such a talented lady!

We loved having her at thread | bare, where her trunk sale stuff was a crowd favorite. The dress she sent down the runway was also a hit, especially with the model who wore it (and stripped it off). In fact, the model - musician Anna Constance - was given the dress as a gift by the generous soul who won the dress in the auction. She is also a huge fan of Kittinhawk.
WOW. Great style.
