Sarah and Scout - Alameda Flea Market, Alameda

Sarah: "Coffee."
Scout: "I don't really have any particular inspiration. I raid my dress up box from when I was a kid. I like to recycle things."

There is an element of orientalism to their dress, the fabrics and clothing items they are wearing, that I find wholly charming. (It sort of reminds me of a modern version of the art deco era when they were very much into chinoiserie signifiers.)


I think these two together might be the best set of shoes I've had the pleasure of photographing. (The juxtaposition is really fantastic.)
