Alicia and Francesca - Alameda Flea Market, Alameda

Alicia: "Well I buy my clothes from friends, from etsy. I like to but things that are used, recycled. And I like the fit and the detailing and the construction that goes into older things."
Francesca: "I would say the 1960s, but typically 30s cotton print, chiffon, just nice pretty details. Ladylike details."
I've heard vintage detractors hold the stance that looks can be dated, but I think that is why these lovely ladies in their pretty knee-length frocks look modern and timeless. Is it 2010 or 1965 or 1990? Do tailored clothes ever go out of style? (I hope not.)

Lovely vintage shoes (or at least stylized) go great with their dresses.
