Alan and Cat - Dolores Street, SF
Alan: "Well today, it's kind of the same thing. I've always been inspired by, growing up in the 90s, the 90s hip-hop movement. I think what was really cool about that movement was (especially being a big fan of east coast hip-hop) just being rough, rugged, and raw. Having brands like Fubu and Tommy Hilfiger, it was kind of like an urban reaction to taking something that was really upscale and preppy and flipping it and turning it into something to take ownership of, like this is how I'm gonna portray urban youth and culture. So, it's something that overall, in my life, I've applied to style."
Cat: "I guess I would say, classic tailored looks. Particularly from early Ralph Lauren and mixed with western."
Urban preps with (Bi-rite Creamery!!) icecream in hand.
A look at their shoes.
