I am going to New York/ Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Spring/ Summer 2012

It's that time again, when twitter lights up with the #mbfw and #nyfw hashtags and I spend an inordinate amount of time favoriting tweets and hoping that the mai {at} fashionist email is working properly. Which is my way of saying, yes, I'm attending New York Fashion Week SS2012. I'll be there from September 5 to 15th. I'm super excited about having been invited to the Rachel Antonoff, Nicholas K, and Kevork Kiledjian shows, as well as Lucky ConFABB.

I love how courageous (yes, courageous) her pattern mixing is here. The shirt and pants almost clash, but this is where she shines. She uses her accessories to tie her outfit together. See how her sunglasses, the strap on her bag, and her sandals capture the colors of both her patterned top and her patterned pants? Hannah is a fashionist genius ++!
