Emily - Indie Mart, Wisconsin Street, SF

"Fur. I basically just put on fur and build around that. Pretty much everyday."
I took a picture of Emily 4 years ago. Funny to see what changes and what remains the same. When she mentioned I had taken a picture of her years ago, I couldn't quite recall when we met, until I saw her tattoo again. I love how she has this lux, yet well-worn aesthetic. There is also something about her hair and how it looks against that fur collar. (This, I think, is why men of yore bought women they loved furs. The contrast of delicate and primal is compelling.)
