Laura - Ace Hotel, Palm Springs
I love when people color block green and blue. (It's been awhile since Laura has been on fashionist.)
A look at her gorgeous blue slingbacks.

Ellie - Ace Hotel, Palm Springs
"This outfit definitely is more of a classic, polished, sophisticated look, which is something I strive for, but not everyday. So this is my best self."
Ellie wears a cute, bright, spare outfit that looks chic and has clean lines.
A look at her great simple slip-on flats.

Gabriel and Danielle - S. Van Ness Avenue, SF
Gabriel: "British professors."
Danielle: "Wearing clothes for micro-climates. Going through different neighborhoods in San Francisco."
If this is how winter looks in SF, than we're in good shape. Layers and pattern mixing in black and white or layers in a monochromatic outfit look structured, clean, and yet casually put together. Yay for SF!
A look at their slim, pointy, black leather shoes.

Thank you - A Rare Appearance by Moi
Thank you to J Brand Jeans for these beautiful eggplant jeans that I wear every other day. And to Sorel for sending me the Wicked boots that will keep me toasty throughout the fall and winter as I bike everywhere. A belated big thank you to Caroline and her team at LuckyFABB for a fantastic conference and the place where I met these great brands.

Deliha - Valencia Street, SF
"Nothing (in particular) really inspires me. I'm from Eurpoe, so, in Europe we really do choose that are really comfortable, but also look good. I buy clothes that look good and are comfortable, so I think everything. The first thing that I see in the closet I choose."
Ah the change of weather from summer to fall in SF feels very dramatic with a drop of 20 degrees. It is hard to figure out what might be an appropriate outfit to wear when that happens. I like the whimsical sweatshirt with the jeggings and the riding boots with the scarf that add a bit of panache.
The aforementioned riding boots.

Lauren - 18th Street, SF
"Vintage, eclectic."
I love this outfit and her styling. Lauren is deftly mixing high (leather oxfords, silk floral skirt) and low (flag button front blouse, stone washed gray denim jacket) using tonal similarities to tie it all together. Also, how amazing are her bangs and thick, groomed eyebrows? Answer: Really amazing.
These are very covetable oxfords in a gorgeous honey leather.

Marco - 18th Street, SF
"At the moment, utility because I had to go wheat pasting/ hanging up posters and it is hot as all hell today."
Marco is wearing the most adorable angry cat tank by Blood is the New Black. I like his silhouette and how he cuffed his jeans.
He's wearing Onitsuka trainers.
