Jeanette - 24th Street, SF
"I got these clothes from T.J. Maxx. I don't usually go there, but I was in Marin for a job interview and went shopping around the area to reward myself for going to the interview. The shirt and skirt (Michael by Michael Kors) I bought there, faux leather jacket is from H&M, and sunnies are from Anthropologie."
I love how well she pattern mixes here. She's a wee thing, but by keeping the materials the same flowy fabric and tying it together with the leather jacket, she pulls off the pattern mixing with aplomb!

Erica and Tara - Valencia Street, SF
Erica: "Something comfortable."
Tara: "I'm drawn to bohemian. Sort of."
On the one hand, cute lace top with black denim and saddle shoes; and the other hand with a denim/linen jumpsuit. These ladies are every day fashionists.
Saddle shoes and cork platforms! So good.

Sabrina - Valencia Street, SF
"I would say I've spent a lot of time in France and Italy both, so Italian and French culture and the 60's. I love the 60's."
Cute purple vintage dress and a scarf (something Sabrina swears is essential in keeping one warm).
A look at Sabrina's maryjane's.

Zoe and Ben - Valencia Street, SF
Zoe: "Cheap. My dress is $5. I got it at a yard sale in Melbourne."
Ben: "I think like classic menswear."
I ran into Zoe and Ben while they were visiting from Melbourne. They had visited previously and were navigating SF like natives, except for their missing scarves to keep the wind at bay. I love Zoe's bright blue dress and Ben's slim-cut button front shirt.
Their perfect for SF shoes in matching brown.

Judy - 18th Street, SF
"I like [am inspired by] Wes Anderson."
Love her pairing of very flat looking nude and mustard. She added texture by wearing patterned fishnets.
A look at her black suede slip-ons/booties.

Wilma and Paul - South Van Ness Ave., SF
Wilma: "I sort of make it up as I go along. I've been collecting clothes for 30 years, so I just throw it all together."
Paul: "A little bit of everything. Which is kind of my style anyway. My vision. I don't normally look like this."
Wilma is smoking hot as my own street style image of Bonnie Parker (of Bonnie and Clyde infamy). But Paul is the guy I'm bowing down to here, with multiple mumblings of, "I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!" He was feeling the punk rock thing so he glued a blue mohawk to his head. You read it right: HE GLUED A MOHAWK TO HIS HEAD. How many of you can say that you are as daring in your sartorial choices? I thought so.
A look at their boots that don't actually hint at the awesome sauce above.

Jessica - Valencia Street, SF
Love that Jessica is using the SF layer strategy to power through the cold summer. She's got solid chambray and khaki standards (dress, jacket) and adds more flare with her black and gold socks, her green beret, and her colorfully tie-dyed scarf. I like those red glasses frames too!
A look at her perforated oxfords.

Tyler - Valencia Street SF
"I've been going for an 80s kind of thing, so I've been doing that Duckie from Pretty in Pink. Boy George is my inspiration. I usually go thrifting and get deals at Clothes Contact. That's where I'm going."
I like his bright yellow pants and "Cosby" sweater, ready for an ugly sweater party.
Painfully well-worn leather chukkas.

Liz - 18th Street, SF
"I'm defintely a fan of the 60s, 70s. Stevie Nicks is definitely an idol of mine."
I find her outfit so fetching, the epitome of outfits from 60s beach party films like Beach Party.
Cute flat leather sandals, only slightly strappy, not quite gladiator.

Kamil - Valencia Street, SF
"I love bright colors and I like the vintage feel of things. I like bringing my own style and it's comfortable."
A nice clean silhouette with spare style and small bursts of bling (her chandelier earrings, that sort of match the bling on the blouse). Not much else is needed. You can find more about Kamil on her tumblr.
Cute quilted black flats.

Catie - Hayes Street, SF
"Well San Francisco is pretty much the same season, year-round. That inspired me to wear a lot of brown. Brown is not traditionally spring. I've got brown on my dress, in my jewelry. I'll just wear more brown, why not?"
Catie is the proprietress of Dronning Vintage and the blogger behind Cuffington. Here she wears a beautiful Dries Van Noten dress and wooden heeled sling backs. Catie is one of the most elegant and thoughtful fashion blogger friends I have in SF and we met years ago at dinner with the amazing Wendy Brandes.
Close-up of her accessories, including: a straw clutch, arm candy, and a barb wire ring.
A look at those wooden heeled Marni sling backs that make her crazy tall.
